For example, you make backup copies every day. In one year there will be 365 copies. And if the project not one? It is easy to get confused. Usually in such cases create catalogues with the names conterminous to the current year. In them create folders with names of months, and already inside months write down backup copies.

About variables
Can be used as parameters for "Name of file archive" and "Local\LAN destination for backup set". Their full list:
